Definition and Usage
The letter-spacing property increases or decreases the space between characters in a text.

Browser Support
The letter-spacing property is supported in all major browsers.
Note: No versions of Internet Explorer (including IE8) support the property value "inherit".
Property Values
Value | Description |
---|---|
normal | No extra space between characters. This is default |
length | Defines an extra space between characters (negative values are allowed) |
inherit | Specifies that the value of the letter-spacing property should be inherited from the parent element |
